So besides my schoolwork I have finally gotten some time to work on the two website projects that I’m running. One of which is in the development stage and one of which is in the planning stage. As I stated before in one of my previous posts I ran into a little bit of trouble with the image uploading for the avatars website I was building. So what I have done is the following: I removed the entire database image uploading system which converted an image into binary and should have converted it back but it didn’t and I replaced this system by a simple image uploading program which uploads to a folder and then sends the filename to the MySQL database. This should solve the problem and allow me to start working on the back end of the website.
The second project I’ve started is on a larger scale. It will be a complicated CMS system which is build for a specific star trek simming community which is called Sigma Division and this website should support all their needs. I’ve already started planning the user system and in the below image you can clearly see my working out.
